Re: Grandpa's 72 GMC

Welcome to the BB.That's a nice truck.Looks very well kept and has a family history. You just don't get much better than that.Has some nice options too.Care to share specs and a pic of the SPID(glove box door sticker).

Re: Grandpa's 72 GMC

You have a special Grampa because most trucks that come from Grandpa are six poppers with three on the tree and thats it. That is a very nice lookin truck.

Re: Grandpa's 72 GMC

Very Nice truck, My first truck was a LWB 70 CST that my Grandfather had a cage made out of pipe around the bed that he used to haul cows in. So you can imagine how bad of shape it was in. Congrates, and welcome to the board

Re: Grandpa's 72 GMC

BAD4x4 my grandpa does live in terrebonne! what a small world! He said he has had alot of people over the years try to buy it, its weird i have always wanted it but thought someone would offer him alot of money for it but the other day we were talking about how they needed a bigger pickup and asked me if i would be willing to give him 2k for the pickup so they can buy a bigger one! He knows its worth more but you know how grandparents are...

and that 31 model a your talking about is now mine too, its very nice to have a grandpa who takes care of EVERYTHING he owns

Re: Grandpa's 72 GMC

Your Grandpa has given you a gift, respect and enjoy it. I dont know how old you are but if have children or plan to someday this is the kind of truck that could be handed down ( when the time is right) from generation to generation.

Re: Grandpa's 72 GMC

Your grandpa kept it mostly original for 34 yrs, the big question is.. Will your grand kids be able to say the same thing in yr 2044 LOL
I like it, lots of people have nice restored trucks, not very many have nice original trucks.. Paul
