So here it is, I've been on this forum for a while and have been looking at all the projects so I thought I'd finally post my build. I've had the truck for 2 years and have not made a whole lot of progress so hopefully this gets me re-motivated. I purchased the truck for about $1000 it was in pretty decent shape with your typical Canadian rust. Planned on shortening the frame and turning it into a short fleet side, but I found a frame around the corner for $200 so I bought it to save some work. Then a few months later I bought a 68 shortbox with a good frame as well. So far I've replaced the floors in the cab, cab corners and rockers. Shaved the firewall, gas cap, mirrors. I've painted the frame, and put in a CPP lowering kit 5.5 6.0. Front and rear swaybars. I've got a 327 and a 5 spd tranny.
Well that's about it, as you can see I have a ton more to do so I'll keep you posted as it comes together.
