suspension questions on a 70 gmc

whats the lowest i can drop my truck with spindals and springs in front and springs in the back where i wont have to do other mods at the time beeing? i have heard that 5inchs in the back i will need a c notch is that true?

4/6 drop.You will be too close for comfort in the rear w/o a c-notch.If you run empty and are careful you`ll get away with it.If you use bag in place of springs you`ll be fine.But,you have leaf springs,right?You could add auxillary bags.This not only allows the minimal clearance,it increases payload on a truck folks would figure saw it`s last loaded bed.Pretty cool.You can also tow.With 5" springs I`d think you still have to watch your payload.

it has coil springs in the back so i could do 5in in the back but it would be a close call? i want to go with bags some time but for now i just dont have that much cash flow comin in
