Sliding rear window

I'm thinking about adding a rear slider. The one requirement is that it's tinted dark....like 5% dark, as this is an Arizona truck. Any feedback on types/brands? What's a good price?

My only concern is the fact that people love to break into trucks through these things. I don't keep anything of value in the truck really, but there is a cheap stereo that some tweaker would probably go for, so one with a more secure latch is desired.

I used one from classic parts and it fit great and the best thing I liked about it it had a slim frame. I no the old ones had a thick frame that looked like you got it out of a camper.

The darkest tint I can find on one is 30%...would like darker without having to go pay a window tinter to do it. Looks like choices are pretty limited to 3-4 places. Classic parts, LMC Truck, JCWhitney, and a few ebay sellers.

Do most come with the new weather seal or should I plan to buy that separately? I've never replaced a window. How do you get the old one out?

New window has no gasket will need to get one. Use a blade to cut the old one so you can save the glass.

i bought my slider from jc whitney and the gasket from lmc truck it was cheaper going this way. one note the frame on the slider is thin but i need to seal a joint potential
for leaking.
