Re: New Aluminum heads $650 ebay???

sounds about right price wise for procomps. there are a few brands out there competing around this price range. cant say if they are worth it or not. makes you wonder why other brands are that much apiece. over seas stuff? it would be my guess. sure is inviting though!

I'd double check that warranty to see what it includes if you're going to pull the trigger on these. From the info in those two linked threads I would stay away from them. I understand the attraction based on the price, but you get what you pay for.

If you do go with these please post a review.

I have been told that the procomp heads are cast in China. The local machine shops said that they are junk.

They are junk. Stay away from them. Spend about 400 more and get a set of brodix or dart heads. They are well worth the extra expense. If you can hold out and save a little more, AFR is the way to go. I'm glad I waited and got the AFR's for my 406.
