what kind of fan should i have?

im trying to get my waterpump and everything all on my motor now, the fan i have has 7 blades, and looks kind of big, like a truck fan or somthing. anyone have pics of what it should look like and some detail? thanks a bunch

well depends on the year and if HD cooling option or not and a/c or not too, some were solid 4 blade(standard equipment) and some were clutch type in 71 72 years, maybe even beofre that even)

id probably just go with the standard cooling one, i dont have ac and the one on there is a clutch type system but it doenst look right

I'd keep the clutch...WAY better than a solid fixed fan.

Go with the clutch fan.They may not be the coolest looking but they work.Just don't use a flex fan.I've had 2 fly apart.They make nice gashes in body panels when they do.

I have run a Flex a Lite PLASTIC flex fan , & had good luck keeping things cool. These things are lite,cheap,& rated to 8000 rpms. as with any flex fan , I dont keep them more than a couple yrs before they are replaced. I have not seen one explode, but have heard guys talk about pcs of fan coming through the hood(yikes) my longhorn will be running dual electric fans this summer........crazyL
