I saw an add somewhere a while ago in a magazine that said electric master cylinder. is this what I think it is, and if so are they any good?

There is a guy here in Houston that has an old ford with one on it. Have not seen him since he installed it to get any feedback.They are going to be used on some new cars as well. I think the new Taurus was going to have them. Don't know if any good since I don't have one but their have been developing them for several years now to save space for more room in for the interior

I haven't done any research on them but will today. thanks for the input. I am trying to have no accessories on my engine except for an alternator. I'm sure the hydraulic setup would be fine just stuck some interest in the electric setup!

This is what I came up with for brakes and vacuum to hide it all ,I've not seen the electric brake set up accept on my trailer. Are you talking E/Hyd?

I have one of these setups for my 57 1.5 ton pickup..... If it's what I think you are talking about it is not completely electric. It is hydraulic with electric assist. Check out a newer Ford F650. It is a hydroboost booster with an electric motor built in. In case your engime dies or you start rolling with out the engine on and push the brakes the electric motor kicks in to build up pressure in the booster. I'll get you a pic ASAP

I'm addicted to the dunes to! was supposed to be at glamis this last weekend but my buddies bailed!
