Dash Pad/Board

I'm looking to improve on the looks of my dash board and dash pad. I'll get the pad from LMC unless anyone on here has anything bad to say about the quality of their product. Does anyone know where I can get the dash board between the pad and the windshield?

Re: Dash Pad/Board

You can get the same dash pad from "ClassicParts" for $10 less than LMC. I just bought one and they are very nice. The black pads are ten bucks less than other colors. I recovered the pad in my 69 with new vinyl a few years ago, it cost about $5 for the vinyl. If you are handy you could do that.

Re: Dash Pad/Board

You will probably save some $$ over LMC by buying from a BB vendor.Plus they actually know about these trucks.

I don't know why they do not advertise prices. I called one time to get a price and was on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up. The next time I called I got a person ( it was a boiler room atmosphere) and they were all over the place with prices. I'm thinking the phone sales staff is on commission and have a bottom line they can sell something for but if they can get more money from someone they make more commision.

I am going to get one of these but have decided to wait untill the next time I'm in California with a vehicle( which may be this coming April ) and just go to their store and do the cash and carry thing.
