Aero Chambers....

Now, i'm not trying to dog those with Aero Chambers....but who do they think they are selling thier mufflers too? here is an excerpt from thier ad...

"In fact, dyno tests with a 406 c.i. SB-Chevy have proven that Aero Chamber helped produce 5ft./lbs. more torque than 2-1/2'' open pipes!"

NOW... what car/truck enthusiast doesnt know that back pressure builds torque? so OBVIOUSLY an exhaust with a muffler with build abit more torque than an open exhaust......I'm not saying they are bad mufflers, as i will more than likely get them, but it sounds as if they are stating the obvious trying to make thier product sound good.. maybe its me... just my .02 or observation....

Check out this link and you will see why they say that. Its because they still create more torque then competitor mufflers.
Down at the bottom for test results.

The reason they say this is to sell them to drag racers. A lot of drag strips are now requiring mufflers because of the noise and people are *****ing about it. They do this to compete with other muffler manufacturers.

Brandon, you can keep your flows, i'm gonna get an AeroChamber when I redo my exhaust.

I was at Daves site and his truck sounds SAAAWEEET! Maybe with a high flow catty and an AeroChamber my truck will sound pretty good. Please no flames thank you. :p

Brandon, what size did you plan on getting the 14" or 22"? I'm guessing like glass packs the longer the quieter?

paul... if you like the way daves exhaust sounds on his site. you might want to buy Brandons flowmasters.. because the audio on daves site is of his old exhaust which is now MY exhaust... 3" pipes and flows...

Probably 14" Paul since I like it loud But I want to see what Dave and Mike got as well. I've heard Dave's exhaust (both with Aero's and Flows) and would like to hear what size he got. But I'm leaning 14".

He had Flows on it then?

It did sound good though, but I can't stand this interior noise any longer. Either way i'll go with an Aero, you guys really like em and I trust you more then someone else telling me about what I should put on my truck.
