how do you remove the old bushings to replace them? any help would be great

on leaf springs you can burn them out with a torch... or have them pressed out... did you buy new one's already? You can look for a spring shop in your town...

You can burn them out like msgross suggested or press them out with a press.

I would think so, but i'm a leaf spring guy... all bushings are pressed in from the factory, replacement poly bushings can be installed by hand, but rubber still needs pressed.

Before you press them out make sure the new ones come with the metel shell if they dont have the shell burn them out when I did mine I just heated the inner bushing un til it pushed out with a screwdriver

Fastcam great question! You dont know how many customers in the past have bought our poly bushings not realizing they had to reuse the original shell. I wish more people would read this thread.

You can press them out without pressing out shell. I pressed mine out and left the shell in there, then pressed the new CPP bushing in.

you would think the ccp guys should supply a new sleve with the bushing??? since the sleve is 40 years old and rusty!
