Post distributor question

can i use a dist.from 85 305 has an electronic plug coming out of side but also has tach and batt hookup? thanks

You can but you will need to connect the black and brown wire together. This pluggin is for the EST circuit and will not allow spark if not connected or shorted. You can replace the ignition module to a simple 4 pin style then just remove the extra plug all together.
