can the rearend be identified by these #s

TDE 0214 W, or another set on here was (67890) can anyone tell me if this gives the gear ratio or anything else

Yes, go to this web site, choose the year in the axle codes section, and look up the first three letters. If the rear is not in a truck just search through the years until you find it. Earlier years had two letters and later had three.

I just tried the web site and it doesn't seem to be working at the moment. I sent the webmaster of the site an email about the problem so hopefull it will be fixed shortly.
