Re: seats

I got some 91 suburban buckets in mine. I used the suburban seat tracks. i just hed to bens the back of the seat tracks up to fit my floorpan. I also made some new front risers to lift the front 1.5" so the seat bottom isn't flat.

Here's the new risers, it already had risers, I just made some that were 1.5" taller. the stainless part between the seat and the tracks I also used some SS tubing to make the spacers for the console too so drinks will sit level.

you will need the black bracket bolted to the floor from the burban.

finished product

Re: seats

Those seats look good in there Chevyrado. Do they actually have that much recline to them, or is it just the pic? How low do you sit in the truck?

Re: seats

They recline more than I have room for in my cab. they have a wheel on the side to set the recline since they don't have to lean forward to let people in since burbans are 4 door. I'm about 6'2" and the way I have them setup, no kiddin those are the most comfortable seats I can remember owning. I drove them down to gulf shores last year (6-8 hour trip) and I wasn't all tired and stove up after getting there. I love em I love em!

I almost forgot, you can't get the armrests from a blazer!

Re: seats

I put some seats out of a 03 silverado in mine. I had to cut the tracks off and fab up a couple brackets. I will get some pics but they look really nice in there plus i only have 125 bucks tied up in it.

Re: seats

I would like to see those k10! I've wondered how the newer style seats looked in the 73-87 trucks.

Re: seats

I will as soon as i can. the bottom of the head rest sits is right at the bottom of the back window plus you get cup holders and they are really comfortable.

It's times like this that make wish I had opted for a grey interior instead of a red interior... I'd like 2000+ seats but red is hard to come by seeing as they never made red in anything newer that the 80's, and I mean red, not burgandy

I want to say there was a member on here that was working on it, and he had to do some floor modifications. He also had to swap the saddle gas tank out for a burban/blazer gas tank. I can't remember for the life of me where I saw the thread though.

Here is the thread. We thought about that after seeing the pics. Too much work and money right now.

I had it saved so I could look at that way of mounting. At this point those seats are on the back burner.
