Power drum brake help needed

When first started, I have good pedal and good braking. Drive it half a block and the pedal goes to floor with hardly any braking. They stay this way until the truck is turned off. When you switch off the engine, the pedal comes back up. It sounds as if there is a vacuum leak coming from the power booster. There is good vacuum at the hose, and when plugged, the RPM drop. When plugged in to the power booster, the RPM stay up. Is the booster shot? Is it a simple unbolt and replace? How do I identify the booster that is on the truck? Will any new booster work?

Thanks,

-Mark

the left pisture is a delco morriane the second is a bendix. Easy to replace. just unbolts. Might as well change fluid to,
Hook up a vacuum pump and see if it pulls a vaccum. if not it leaks
booster will work from just about anything if the will bolt up to your truck and current fittings. You can put too large of a booster(people think they will stop better) on as well as too small of one.
