ac to heat only
what would i need to swap out my ac ductwork under the hood to heat only? im not using the ac and having the big box there is an eye sore to me

you need the inner and outer boxes, the cables and the selector and its a direct bolt in.

you also use different duct work and the other thing is the vents in the center of the dash pad are eliminated the air goes out the bottom or top no center

if your friend backs out let me know lol i want to clean the engine bay up. and will the defrost ducts work with the heat only ductwork

I don't remember who sells it, but there's a plate you can buy to cover up where the ac box was and convert it to heat only. IIRC the holes in the firewall are different for AC and non-AC trucks.

i was thinking about bending up some metal to do that with being on i been in hvac for years but if they make a kit for decent price im interested

May wanna do it yourself since you know how. I think that thing was like $140 or so. It looks good though.

The heater cores and location of the outlets for them into the firewall is different as well.
