cab corners

I'm looking at getting some 47-54 cab corners. What are some recommended vendors?

Thanks in advance.

Re: cab corners

I don't believe it matters who you buy them from as they all come from the same place. The quality also leaves something to be desired. I bought all of mine from Classic part (Formerly Chevy Duty) and they were ok.

We will see what other people think.

Good luck

Re: cab corners

No problem. I am not building a show truck just something to enjoy. At least they will be better than what I have. The holes are big enough to throw a cat through.

Re: cab corners

I got mine a long time ago from LMK. The fit ok but where the bottom rolls under they were wrinkled. You can only see it laying down and I figure any drunks I run over will be worried about something else. Seriously, it seems as the dies used to stamp the trucks got older things moved and stretched. The farmers didn;t care as long as the doors and hood stayed shut. I know a couple of the builders on here have had to make some pretty serious pie cuts to get the curve right. Mine dropped right end, my challenge was at the back of the cab.

Re: cab corners

They are not all from the same stamper. Get the ones by Dynacorn. They are more expensive but fit the rocker area much better especially the right side.

Re: cab corners

i got a pr for my 56 from Tri Pro automotive, Jon is a member of the forum and a great person to deal with. I was happy with the product i had recieved. one thing to remember that the panels are weldins, and do not overlap the metal as it will create non uniform lines with the rest of the body.
my .02 anyway
