1965 Interior Door Panels

Just a little thing...but, I am really happy with how they turned out. I took my original (metal) interior door panels and painted them with black (VHT) "wrinkle" paint. Then, I traced the raised area in the middle of the door panel on to a piece of fiber board. I then had a piece of vinyl rolled and pleated to match my seat. I finished it off with new arm rests, window cranks, door handles and trim screws. Again, not a big thing - but I really like it.

Re: 1965 Interior Door Panels

That is by far my favorite thing people do to these door panels. Can't say it's a very common mod, but it's VERY effective.
