Complete Rubber Kits

I'm in the middle of a restore and want to replace every piece of rubber. Does anyone sell a complete rubber kit so I don't have to buy every piece one by one?

Re: Complete Rubber Kits

Thanks, GMCPaul.

I've got a question... What are the flat rubber pieces that go between the cab and the front of the doors on the 72? They look like some kind of noise reducing pieces.

The rubber pieces you are asking about are called the front fender dust shields. The metal bracket they are attached to are not reproduced so you need to save them. The rubber flaps and large brass staples to hold them in place on the metal strip are available. To install them you have to bend the folded ends of the original staples till they are straight and pull them out. After these are removed you can lift the old rubber dust shields off then you place the new dust shield on the original metal bracket and place the staples through the openings and then bend the end over to hold it in place.
You'll find these on the following page of our web site

The last item on the page Part # 998215
Have a great weekend!!!!

Re: Complete Rubber Kits

Alright GMCPaul, I have one last favor to ask...
Can you put together a shopping list of sorts for every piece of rubber I need on a 72 Super Cheyenne, LWB, 2WD, Auto. I want to replace everything except maybe the grommets in the firewall.

Your prices are way better than my local guy.

The first thing I need is cab mount bushings.

Thanks!!
