Found some old pics of my first '68 C10

So I was going thru some pictures and found some of my very first C10 truck. It was a '68 long bed, like my current one. Should have never sold it. It was built before the day of the Internet and digital cameras. I finally scanned these in and thought I would share them. Man things have changed. I had dropped A-arms because no one made '67-'72 drop spindles. Early Classics was a basically brand new company. Wow do I feel old...

Enjoy

2.5"/4" drop, 15x8.5 wheels I got at the junk yard with 275/60-15 tires all around. The rear end was the stock '68 with custom 5 lug axles.

Toyota Supra seats

Dakota Digital dash, interior dash, pillars, headliner and door panel done in grey tweed.

Old engine out and cleaning the firewall and frame.

Rattle can painted.

SoLow dropped A-arms

Front end back together, converting to power steering too.

Crate engine with some dress up goodies. Also put in a Bowtie Overdrives 700R4.

Shaving the trim. Thinking back, shouldn't have done it. I did french in a power antenna where the stock filler was and a flush fuel door in the bed. My first real welding projects.

Should have kept that truck... Well the current one will be much better having learned so much in 15 years.

Re: Found some old pics of my first '68 C10

ahh brings back memories. Things we did before internet and digital cameras. I only found one picture of mine I built back in the mid 90s. Mostly junk yard parts, 4wd shops, and piles of catalogs. Everything was done with a tape measure and will 73-87 parts fit?
