Crew Cab Short Bed

Well i have been sitting behind this comp too long and have to take action so heres my couple ?'s

I cant seem to find any 3/4ton CC single rear wheel trucks

1. Can i use a crew cab dually and change out the rear axle?

2. Will the 1/2 ton suspension bolt on to my front?

Im in california so i have a good supply of parts from yards and trucks around here

I think you can swap the 1 ton stuff for 1/2 and 3/4, but the only time I've messed with a 2wd is to take all the front suspension out and make it a 4wd.

The rear is easy, find another one ton SRW truck and bolt it in, or find an axle, move the spring perches in.

yep, there is 2-3 inches difference in width between the SRW and DRW spring hangers. so move the axle perches inboard (if you planning on doing a rear axle flip just re-weld the perches on the bottom of the tubes. You can pick up new perches from a trailer supply) or replace the hangers with the proper ones.
the front is a bolt in deal, you don't even need to change the front crossmember, just swap arms out.
