Next step is paint baby!

Soon as summer hits my uncle is going to shoot my truck up but I can't decide what color. I really want to see some good color's before I make a final decision. I was thinking of a dark candy apple red but could be persuaded differently. If you have some pics that you like please post 'em up! If anyone has a color somewhat close to this '57 please please post it up as it's the color I am really leaning towards.--- But ANY color's are welcomed as I'm not dead set. Thanks guys!

Here is said '57-

In my opinion the dark candy reds remind me to much of gangster lowriders

Re: Next step is paint baby!

It sure is a beautiful color. I threw in a little crystal in a mid coat to set it off alittle more. I'm doing a pearl white roof and the same on the tailgate, but I haven't decided if I'm going to do under the side molding or not its a 68 and I think they look good either way.

Re: Next step is paint baby!

I had a 78 Chevy Step side painted with Ditzler paint.. The paint chip was #333. It's dark maroon with super small gold flake. I'll post a picture when I find it.

Hey VA72C10. That is a planet color - barrett jackson series - spicey merlot. I added a little planet color galaxie crystal in a midcoat to give it a little extra pop. Its a factory packed color so the cost is very reasonable too
