I have a protect-o-plate and original owners manual to a 68 chevy truck. Never thought of posting it on here to find its original truck. If you have success with this thread I will have to try a thread of my own.

Over on Chevelles.com they have a guy that has a vin number data base and matches up owners with former parts.
He has been sucsussful mating engines and trannys back to orginal cars, as well as documentation. No doubht a big chore but how cool when you can match up old vintage iron with it proper home
