Reproduction hood hinge springs

Is there any company out there making "new" hood hinge springs?
I am getting a little tired of my hood coming down and "biting" me.
Greg.

Re: Reproduction hood hinge springs

They are pretty trick looking.
I bought a pair of stock powdercoated hinges last year and am sticking with them.

Re: Reproduction hood hinge springs

www.classicparts.com sells new reproduction hood hinge springs for $11.95 + tax + shipping...Item #38-413.

If you want good, used '60-'66 Chevy/GMC truck factory hood hinges, I have several, so let me know if I can help.

Re: Reproduction hood hinge springs

Thanks for the link, Tony.
I have emailed them to see if they would ship via USPS instead of the UPS that they advertise.
UPS to Canada = big $$ at the border.
