New guy here

I like the forum here is a pick of my 78. I know its dirty. It was built in 96 before that it was the body off of a frame used for a zamboni machine, just sat in a barn for the 1st 20 years of its life.

Re: New guy here

Welcome to the boards. Do you have any pics of it when it was a zamboni machine? That's a pretty unique thing to have associated with the truck.

Re: New guy here

Thanks for the warm invite. I wish i had a picks of the Zamboni I know that the guy who had built the truck has passed away, so It would be hard to track that stuff down. THe 2nd and 3rd owners are both friends of mine. The friend I bought it from ran into financial problems and sold it to me for $1000 canadian, not runnig. A different Qjet, fuel pump and tank switch and she runs like a top. ITs got a 305 20 over with a small cam headers and duel exhaust.

Re: New guy here

So the truck was bought, the body was taken off and put in the barn, and the original frame used for a zamboni ? Then 20 years later the body was put on a new frame ? Or was the zamboni stuff taken off and the truck reunited with it's original frame ?

I think the First Zamboni was built on a Model T chassis. Then they went to Jeep chassis.
