BBC Parts

Well, my big block fantasies were dashed when I found a problem with my block. Never even got it fully assembled. To keep my 68' build project on track, I scrapped my big block plans and purchased a 383 crate motor. Now all my new big block parts must go. I'm taking huge losses on all this stuff. Prices are negotiable especially if buying more than one item. ie; heads and cam.

Edelbrock Performer RPM Marine Heads
Assembled with Comp Cams valve train to support 304HR roller cam. Heads were purchased new and assembled by local speed shop. I bolted one head on the block. The other was never bolted up due to a block defect. I will throw in the correct ARP head bolts and head gaskets(a $200 value). Everything for $1800

New in box, Edelbrock Air Gap Intake - Nascar edition. This edition normally sells for over $300. Take it for $225

New Comp Cams 304HR Roller Cam w/ roller lifters. Includes timing cover that has been modified with the correct cam end play and matching Comp Push Rods. All for $600

New black painted water pump with pulleys for a 454 $40

New B&M Flywheel weighted for 454 $50

New Comp lifters, flat tappet $25 (Had these just laying around the garage)

BBC oil pan with New Melling high volume oil pump. Comes with bolts $45

No, I sure don't. I was using tubular mounts that work for sbc or bbc so I'll need them.

Actually it's a long water pump with pulleys that came off a 79' 454.

I will do $220 shipped. That's still over $100 below the best web price and it's new in the box.

As a matter of fact, I believe I have all the accessories and brackets to fit a BBC w/ short pump. Those parts along with a bunch of other stuff are in storage. I will run out today and take a few pics and get back to you.

Re: BBC Parts

Can you give me some specs on the heads....Or a part number to look it up. What is the chamber size? What do they flow? Do they take a stock header? They look like iron? etc....

I guess the photos didn't come up for you? The heads are aluminum with black hard anodizing for protection. They come that way because they are Marine heads. Do a search on Edelbrock Performer RPM Marine Heads for more info

Combustion chamber volume 110cc
Intake runner volume 290cc
Exhaust runner volume 110cc
Intake valve diameter 2.25"
Exhaust valve diameter 1.89"
Valve stem diameter 11/32"
Valve guides Manganese bronze
Deck thickness 9/16"
Valve spring diameter Springs Not Included
Valve spring maximum lift Springs Not Included
Rocker stud 7/16"
Guideplate Hardened steel
Pushrod diameter 3/8"
Valve angle 26°
Exhaust port location Stock
Spark plug fitment 14mm x 3/4 reach, gasket seat
Made In USA

Designed for 396-502 c.i.d. big block Chevy engines, these Edelbrock cylinder heads include heavy-duty exhaust valves that provide the added durability needed for marine applications, and have one-piece, stainless steel intake valves with hardened tips and swirl-polished heads. The high-velocity flow capabilities of Edelbrock Performer RPM cylinder heads provide increased torque across a wide rpm range that's ideal for marine use. They're cast from A356 aluminum and heat-treated to T6 specs. These Oval-port heads have 110cc chambers with hard-anodizing to protect the aluminum in the harsh marine environments.
