Re: Nice builder

I've always liked those stripped down base model trucks. So simple. I'd swap in a Camaro T5 and add a turbocharger. For a clean little SWB that's priced right too.

That's one you wouldn't mind cutting up and laying it on the deck.

Re: Nice builder

This is a deal for the east coast guys looking for fairly priced SWB that appears to be rust-free.

Thump evidently is right around the corner from it...I'd go check it out, but I just checked and it's 6 hours away from me...

Re: Nice builder

I am skeptical of the miles. The one picture that shows the tailgate shows it worn pretty good. The price is decent even if its 257,000 miles.

I'll bet the owner allowed the engine to overheat or ran it out of oil and had it rebuilt.

Re: Nice builder

Old rusty C10. Give him a call(his number is at the top of the ebay ad). I would be willing to keep it here at the house and look it over for you and hook you up with any minor maintenance to get you back up the road(My in-laws are from upstate New York). He is a mechanic by trade and works on the local police dept fleet of vehicles. Columbus GA is a couple of hours from me.

Just got off the phone with him. He said it's pretty solid and would make the trip back to New York with 0 problems.
He said there is a small rust hole on the drivers side floor and a few bubbles on hood. New clutch. If i didn't have my 84, I would be all over this deal.
