How much would you pay

I found a 71 k20 in a local scrap yard. everything seems to be in good shape except for body. It is a stake body so it is only the cab and front clip. but the frame is sound( no holes or bad rust) and the drivetrain is complete. How much would you guys pay for this project.

4x4

If the drive train is complete and the frame is solid $500 is a deal in my area anyday.4x4s are getting harder to find and alot of the drivers out there have rot in the frames. The computer has made it easier to locate parts and parts trucks but this is not and endless supply.Frames and good cabs are not being reproduce like everything else is and the supply of good buildable stuff is dwindleing at a steady rate.

500 or 600 would be a good deal not much more remember is probably worth more to you than the yards, because its taking up their valueable space.

If it has the original tow hooks that will get you some quick cash back.
They usually sell in excess of $100.
A lot of the drive train parts are hard to come by and will fetch a good price to someone that needs them.
If it is big block then the brackets are worth quite a bit.
Check the option code if it still has the glove box.

I would think $500 if it is complete drivetrain.
