Re: fog light idea
eh I'd say no as well. The front already has a lot going on with that hood/grill/headlight design. I don't think adding more lights to it would look good.

Re: fog light idea
you may look at taking the 67-72 bumper you can get that with smaller lights...may be able to flip it upside down and use it that way

Re: fog light idea
I've tried a rollpan for the front but it didnt look right.. but I like the way it looks without a bumper like in my avatar...i just needs something else.

Re: fog light idea
I've thought about doing this to my own truck. Here's a before shot and a rather poor photoshop effort of the concept. I was simply going to mount the lamp base on the bottom flange of the bumper and have the lamp sit flush at the bottom and protrude a bit at the top. It would unblock the view of the GMC letters and also make them easier to wash. The GMC letters look a little goofy since I had to cut and paste them from a different truck that was photographed at a slightly different angle.

Re: fog light idea
I agree it takes away from the looks of your truck.
Heres a local truck that has some extra lights.

Re: fog light idea
I say if you like it, go for it, you are the one that has to look at it and drive it. You might as well have what you want and I think it looks ok to me

Re: fog light idea
I dont know if you could get foglites to fit, but if you could & mount them in park lite bezels in the bumper like the green truck or markebo1's second picture that might look good.

Re: fog light idea
I think I measured once, and they had enough clearance to shine through the fins of the grille without abstruction.
