WTB - 1/2 ton 2wd pickup frame, LWB or SWB

WTB - Can either be "wanted to buy" or "wanted to borrow"......

I am looking for a 1/2 ton 2wd frame to use for mock-up purposes. LWB or SWB, doesn't matter. Rolling or not, suspension or not. I have a complete front crossmember, that's all I really need. If it ends up being borrowed, it will not be damaged, no new holes drilled, etc. The possibility of a tack weld a two may be needed, but they will be cleaned up.

Looking for something cheap!!! Super cheap!

Are you just looking for the front half? I have a 2wd Suburban on the way, will it work?

Re: WTB - 2wd pickup frame, LWB or SWB

I need at least to the tranny crossmember area, maybe a little beyond. Are they the same as a truck frame? I never thought of a burb frame..... I have a 1/2 ton burb at home.... If they are the same, sounds like I need to have a sawzall party at my house!

Been searching the intranets since JonBoy mentioned the burb frame. It does look as though they are the same. So we may be having a party after all! BBQ and sawzalls.....

LOL, I'm hoping the weather is good Saturday. If so, I'm going to get the burb body off and get the frame cleaned up.
