New guy here
New to the site. I thought i introduce my-self, im from the la area. I have a 63 fleetside that was recently given to me (free), sorry no pictures camera is down, will put some up as soon as i get it working, the truck actually belonged to a chevy dealership (rear bumper is stamped) in pasadena. First thing i did was lower the bad boy, put some white walls on it, i did other mods. To it & im working on the body. Ill keep you guys posted as soon as i get some pics. To see what you guys think.

Welcome to the forums from Kansas City, KS. Rear bumpers on the '60-'66 Chevy trucks were an option, usually installed at the dealer level, therefore they were stamped with the dealers name and sometimes included the dealership's city and state.
This advertising and marketing method also morphed into installing chrome-plated dealer badges, and are now seen on new cars, in the form of vinyl decals, applied at the dealership, before leaving the lot. Good luck with your project and don't forget to get that digital fixed, so we can see some pictures of your truck. |
