Couple of suspension questions

I am putting a 4" lift on my 68 K10. The truck has been apart for awhile and I have forgotten how it goes back together. Is this part on here correct or does the raised part (that looks like a + sign) go towards the inside?

Also on the front leaf springs, the bigger hole goes towards the front?

Thanks.

Re: Couple of suspension questions

I figured this out....found a picture in a parts book which shows the raised part does go to the inside. Any idea what this is for?

Also figured out that the bigger hole of the leaf springs does go to the front.
