Re: price
$11,000 back in 1984 in the Bronx for a GMC Sierra 3500 2wd. No AC, no power windows or locks, no dome light, no spare tire rack, no headliner, no exterior trim BUT it did have a 350 w/4 bolt main and 4.11 gears! HD work truck!

Re: price
In the mid-80's, the 4x4 Silverado models were going for 15 to 17 - don't know about the 2wd models but probably 1500 to 2k less.

Re: price
My dad said he got the 77 C10 Sport for $5500 It was an end of the model year deal. it had a 1/2 ton with the HD suspension, AT tires, 350/350, and full gauges, chrome step bumper, A/C.
Grandad's 78 C20 was bought for right under $7000 early in the model year, 3/4 ton, dual tanks, 350/400 full gauges, cruise, dealer undercoating, side trim, A/C. Last edited by 78 Chevyrado; 02-01-2010 at 02:31 AM. |
