newbie with lots of questions

Hey all. just joined the forum after lurking for awhile to help with a new build. my 11yr old son saved up his money from mowing yards last year and we went halves on a 66 Chevy longbed. told him to save up and i'd match him dollar for dollar on a lil project for us. just wasn't ready for him to buy one at 10yrs old. it needs quite abit of help but have 5yrs to do it all. here's a pic of how it sits now.

thanks guys. i hope making him work for this teaches him appreciation for stuff. the plans are 5.3/4l60 swap, 99-05 chevy truck bench to get shoulder harness, upgrading to PS/PDB and tilt column. this will be his DD when he turns 16 and his business truck

Now that's a cool story.Restoring a hot rod or a truck is a great way to teach a kid a thing or two,and also keeping a great hobby alive.
