250ci Anti-Freeze pouring where tranny/engine meet!??!

Ive searched the whole internet and i cant find nothing...I just got this truck and it replace all the hose etc...and when i put anti-freeze in the raditor it pours out a hole in the flywheel cover...is there a freeze plug on the back of the motor? 68 250ci c10...thanks guys!!

It shouldn't have a cracked block if you kept the correct amount of antifreeze in it. That doesn't mean that the PO did though... Anyway, there's a big freeze plug behind the bellhousing and a smaller one next to it. The small one is directly behind the camshaft, so I doubt it's the one leaking. (Well I guess if it's behind the camshaft there would be oil behind it, not coolant. DUH!) What happens is when rust builds up behind the freeze plug, it develops pinholes. These can go unnoticed and eventually get worse. You can just pull your tranny, pop a new freeze plug in, and you should be good to go!

If my old memory serves me right...Yes you are right on the problem If it were mine, I would pull ALL the clutch/flywheel pcs & check it......I doubt that you cracked it, more likely a rusted out core plug. If the block is cracked, you will see the line of rust, running to the core plug . best of luck,crazyAL

thanks guy...when i got the truck it was at a shop gettin worked on and the man passed away...its been sitting for a year or 2 without water or antifreeze....the shop installed and brand new radiator..gas tank..fuel pump and water pump and pushed it out side...i put a new manifold gasket and a battery and it fired right up old plugs and all..runs awesome.everything works on this truck all the lights wiper everything
