That is what I like to refer to as patina from the ground up instead of the top down!

Re: Has To Be The Most Rusted Out Truck Ever
I opened the door on one in a pasture and it fell off. Couldn't really tell anything else since the johnson grass was taller than the truck and my imagination led me to believe I heard a rattler so I boogied. Johnson grass burns on my face too.

Re: Has To Be The Most Rusted Out Truck Ever
there was a guy on the other side of town, had a 68 C/10 LWB. First time I met him, I saw him drilling and bolting a speed limit sign in as a floor for his truck. Hile MANY mid-westerners have done this for the part where our feet go, he was doing it for a place to bolt the rear feet of his seat.
I went by his place again a couple years later, the bed had rusted away from the bed floor and fell down, basicly, off the truck. I know where there's a 71/72 here in town where the tail gate rusted off the bed. |

Re: Has To Be The Most Rusted Out Truck Ever
I am so glad rust doesn't grow here, it must suck to have to deal with it! Do you guys use some kind of rust killer? A rusticide? Does rust bite? How long does rust live? Does it stink when it dies? What happens if you touch it? Looks yucky! Other than metal, what does it eat? Will it eat people? Is it slimy? I hope it never migrates to Northern California like killer bees migrating north! That would be scary! People with a rust problem shouldn't drive their infected cars up here, I think they should be turned around at the border if their car or truck has a rust infestation!

I've seen stuff as bad as what's posted, just never really occured to me to document them. I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This one was NOT built at a GM plant. This truck had to have been a ford disguised as a Chevy |

Little bondo, little rattle can, and you'll have a driver!

Good Point. I think you are right and it was fixed up if my memory serves me correctly.
