Touch Door Poppers

I just saw an overhaulin show where they shaved the door handles on a dodge magnum and instead of a keypad to pop the doors, all you had to do was touch the place where the door handle used to be and the door popped. Anyone familiar with this setup?

Definately cool to do, if done right...
I've even seen companies who sell different things like a thing that u can knock a code and it will open it, wouldn't trust that.

Thanks. I don't know about the knock code thing, but it seems interesting also.

Thats a bummer about the autoloc ones. I don't like the little sensor plate and the universal one has to be mounted behind a non metallic surface. Where would you put it???

Re: Touch Door Poppers

Not sure..

My buddy has a one off setup where you use a magnet to move this magnetic switch/trigger and it pops it open....
