Re: Air Line?
On this forum you will find most are running 3/8 lines. There a are a few running 1/2 with 3/8 valves, and some running 1/2 valves as well.
It really depends on how fast you want your system to be. I am running 3/8 valves and line. My system will rise to ride height in 2-3 seconds. It will drop to aired out in the same time or less.

Re: Air Line?
All 8 valves on mine are 3/8" (10 mm orifice) with 3/8" fill lines but my dump valves are "stepped down" to 1/4" line to slow it down a bit ...

Re: Air Line?
3/8 hard lines, 1/2 fills with reducers, 3/8 dumps with flow controls. Up in about 2 seconds, down in about 5.

Re: Air Line?
I have 1/2" lines, and for valves 1/2" lifts and 3/8" dumps on my Dakota..

Re: Air Line?
My 94 had 1/2 valves & 1/2 lines but I had slowed the dump valves down because it was too fast for my liking.
If I ever do air on the 72 it will be 3/8" stuff. |

Re: Air Line?
1/2" here, with 3/8" valves
the 1/2" is very tough to maneuver, i would go with 3/8 if i had to do it again i ordered all my stuff from *****************...and they have a cool diagram to show you how to plumb it. this helped me a lot in making my fitting kit..
