That's a old Clod Buster body ant it. I have a couple of those myself. They are great R/C trucks back in ther day.
Cool cutomizing with the chassis. What did you use?

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Any chance you would build one of these for someone?

yeah sure, the bare body (for a new body) runs about $80, this grill and a 90's K5/Suburban grill are the only 2 avalable at this time without makeing it myself, if you want to know anyother details just shoot me a PM or a e-mail, also the chassis arn't cheep at all

Re: 1:10 Square body 4x4

The super clod is the same body but the chevy grill and tailgate was the first clod and hard to get now.And there was a jr clod that was smaller and 2wd the body is good for smaller scale trucks. The truck looks great are you going to make a winch for it out of a servo?Or you can buy one from rc4wdstore.com they also have some wagon wheel looking 2.2 beadlocks too.

there is a guy on one of the scale forum's taht I'm on making re-productions of the grill and tailgates and another doing the 90's K-5 and Burb grill using cnc
I'm doing a servo winch, and as for wheels I'm going to use some custom made 1.9 or 1.5's

Re: 1:10 Square body 4x4

See how much it would cost to do an 81-82 single and double headlight grill. So what would be a good ballpark price for one built like mine as a 4x4? 2x4? It wouldn't need to be anything built super strong, just something fun for me to run around while we're out running the ATV. Powerslides, donuts, maybe some jumps would the extent of it.

jumps take stringth, a good ready to run setup would cost you about $450-$500 with a body like yours

thanks for the complement,
I think that one could be done with controler for $500 you'd just have to get batterys for everything
and here's a update:
been working on the box floor and decided that I wanted a wood one, just keep in mind I'm no where's finished

Dude, that is slick!!!!!!!! That looks like the bed from "Knucklebuster" on Gearz. You going to stain it or leave it natural? Any pics of the inside of the box before you started?

Re: 1:10 Square body 4x4

yeah, the last pic of the body rite after I painted the truck, the box floor was only about 1/2 inch deep, now it's 1 3/4" deep except for a "tool box" that has no floor under it to hold the battery pack. the bed is stained Red Mehogany and all the white is painted flat black as of 10 minutes ago, I'll post pics in a couple minutes when they are done up-loading on my photobucket

Re: 1:10 Square body 4x4

yeha I know how that goes, I was lucky with mine I got the vintage bruiser stuff in trade for doing up a ford on a axiel crawler chassis for a friend, but like rite now I ain't putting any more money in my rc's till I get a donor motor for my 84 after re-iterating why I don't wheel in the winter, I snapped my crankshaft last week pulling out a K-5
