Re: Anyone here dodge fans to?
I'm not a Dodge fan but I think my dad's '66 Dodge 2wd stepper when I was a kid is what influenced my truck addiction.

Re: Anyone here dodge fans to?
The problem you have is that there are only a hand full of old dodge truck fans.

Re: Anyone here dodge fans to?
No one's giving you crap, just some friendly ribbing from a few, but this is a Chevy board, so you gotta expect it!

Re: Anyone here dodge fans to?
AWWW COME ON. I WAS JUST TEASING YOU A LITTLE. I THOUGHT I MADE THAT CLEAR. MAN UP A LITTLE FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD. IF YOU COME ON A CHEVY TRUCK FORUM & ASK ABOUT A DODGE YOU BETTER EXPECT A LITTLE GOOD NATURED RIBBING. IT'S KINDA LIKE WEARING A T-SHIRT TO A WEDDING. YA BETTER EXPECT ALL KINDS OF ATTENTION. JOHN DODGE

Re: Anyone here dodge fans to?
Not a whole lot of bolt on stuff for these trucks. I recently saw an ad for a shiny black one(like in your pic)with yellow bumble bee stripe on the back and a set of magnums. It is a hot looking truck when done right.

Re: Anyone here dodge fans to?
Can't help you with another mopar forum like this one, but when i bought my "other" (ford) pickup in my signature i found a forum very similar to this one. Most people on that forum didn't seem as willing to help as here however. I have a couple of mopar cars myself. Good luck with your search... Eric

Re: Anyone here dodge fans to?
Those poor trucks don't have a lot going for them. They weren't all that popular when they were new, had pretty low sales numbers compared to Ford & GM (about 150-160K/year), currently, from what I've seen in my area, there are VERY FEW of these trucks left, and very limited aftermarket support, so it makes sense finding a site dedicated to them would be difficult.

Re: Anyone here dodge fans to?
You'll get some guys on here that will dog you for talking dodge stuff. Yet, there are still plenty of others on here that are open minded people.
Personally, I like to think of myself as a car person first, a GM person second. Truth be told, my 'dream list' of classic cars and trucks is 50% ford vehicles. Now, if you go to the dodge forums, and say anything about being into GM trucks, you will probably be shunned for life. Oh yeah... and I am putting this in general discussion, instead of 67 - 72 GM truck discussion. Might get less flack over there. |

Re: Anyone here dodge fans to?
I've got a Dodge as well, 07 Ram 3500 DRW Cab & Chassis with the 6.7 Cummins and G56 6 speed Manual.
Love this truck! Up on the chassis dyno, she pulled 445hp and 907ft lbs torque Last edited by Sublvr72; 02-06-2010 at 12:16 AM. |
