Does anyone sell drop spindles that will work with drums for 68`s

Not that I know of.
All require you to switch to disc brakes.
(which is a good idea anyway)

They do not make drop spindles for drum brakes so you'll need to upgrade to discs if you want them.

Another option is 'stepped lower control arms' or 'dropped lower control arms'. The stepped arms do basically the same thing as drop spindles but are limited on the amount of 'safe' drop @ 2". They are cut stock arms which are plated & stepped so they're a custom fabricated item. The dropped arms (if they're still available) actually lower the spring pocket which in my opinion is the same as shortening the spring as far as front suspension geometry is concerned.

Lowering type A-arms loose ground clearance. The bottom of the spring will be the lowest point. I have seen and many dropped A-Arms break. I never recomend using that type of drop.

If the spring is 8" long when compressed by the weight of the truck; and you want to lower the truck with the dropped A-Arm , the spring will still be 8" long. This means it is now hanging down low, and often gets hit on drive ways, pot holes, train tracks, etc.

Not everyone breaks an arm or crashes thier truck, but many do. How lucky will you be?
