should i get it?

hey gents... im usually in the 4x4 section with my "compensation truck"

well.. here's the offer.. i got a buddy that needs money.. he's got a round body blazer it's got a blown tbi V6 in it..
well in the garage i have a tbi 350 with a fresh rebuild...

apparently the tbi 350 will go straight into that blazer with minimum modifications...

im waiting for the vin number on the blazer etc to check the engine codes to make sure it's nto a vortec in it right now..

any input advice?

a 350 swapped blazer for under 1000 dollars.. with a NON smoker no children interior.. (even the center console isnt broken)

i could put some fattie tires on the rear then to make sure i keep traction...
or cam my 350.. it gives me 1500 dollars left over from my "daily driver fund" to play with.. im kinda excited...

well ? what should i be worried about?

Re: should i get it?

If it's a "round body" it's a '95 or later and therefore a Vortec. But you say it has a TBI V6 in it... don't know, let's see what you find out.. Pictures?

Re: should i get it?

yeah we need pics... even if you pick it up for under $1000 and replace the motor with a junkyard motor for a few hundred, you can get your money back plus some.. These things are going for alot of money for an older truck you can prolly get $2000-2500 for it

Re: should i get it?

They didn't put the newer vortec intakes until 96, before that the vortecs were TBI. I have a 4.3 TBI vortec I pulled from a 94 sonoma I had. I'm saving it for a 2 door Chevette build once I find the car to put it in. You wouldn't believe how hard those cars are to find.

Re: should i get it?

So were both right, just depended on which option was chosen in 95. LOL!
