Not so newbies first!
I have been coming to this site for years and never posted, so here it goes. I live in BC, i'm 27, own an Auto Body shop. I have owned about 40 square bodies in 11 years, some for parts some drivers, trucks big and small, blazers, suburbans, I just cant get enough of them. I have three right now (well drivale) The blue one is an 83 c-10 shorty, 4.5-6" drop, injected 350, 700r4, full load, a/c(works), power rear window. The blazer is a 73, 2" drop, 350-turbo 350, custom interior. The 4x4 is an 85 shortbox, 4" lift 33's,corvette 327 suburban interior(my first truck, owned it since 1999) I look forward to posting alot!

Re: Not so newbies first!
On the Blazer....
Sweet, Do you have any worries of the boat carpet getting wet and causing the bed to rust ? Or did you lay some type sealer/bed liner down first ?

I love the blue 83, it reminds me of my first square body, an 81!

Re: Not so newbies first!
The boat carpet sheds the water very well, as for being worried about rust it was rusty when I got it, it is in the shop as we speak. I`ll get more pics of it in the shop.

Re: Not so newbies first!
Picked up a new member on the fleet, I have been bugging a guy I know for 2 years to sell it to me. He finally caved, I didn't know it was coming with the camper but anyways here it is. I'm the third owner, has never been owned out side town, 88 2wd, all orginal, never had anything painted, full load, injected 454, 4 speed, a/c blows cold, very little rust, 202,000km, paid $2800 (canadian) for the whole package, needless to say I happy with that.

Re: Not so newbies first!
The rear window was made by CR Laurence and they have been avalible for at least 15years. It is one of the best aftermarket pieces I have ever had in any truck. I wish they still made them, I would put one in all my trucks.
