67 c10 questions about 4 link and z notching the front crossmember?

I have a c10 im building and im trying to lay frame on 22 and a buget. I just finished putting a notch in the rear of the truck but im trying to decide what kind of 4link or trailing arm setup im going to build? I notched the rear frame so tubeular rear controal arms would tuck up in the notch, i will try to post some pics. And also i was wondering if i have 22'' rims how high will the front crossmember be off the ground with 2.5 drop spindles. And if that will not lay frame then im thinking about notching the front crossmember what will i have to do to the steering box and all the linkage when i notch the crossmember? and will i have to reinforce the crossmember for a big block 454? Is there anything i should know or any other mods i have to do when i do the notch?

Re: 67 c10 questions about 4 link and z notching the front crossmember?

Thanks alot, it was my first notch i was worried at first but it went smooth. And the funny thing is i used a sawzaw, angle grinder, 3 c clamps, a level straight edge and a welder. I clamped the steel to the frame and bent it by hand it worked out great took me 8 hours so far
