I sold my 3/4 ton 4X4. It is in central Texas. I need it shipped to 100 milles north of Pittsburgh. Can anybody recommend a shipper and isnt there a member who does shipping?

Re: I need a truck shipped from TX to PA Who does it?

My god I just spent the last two weeks trying to get my truck shipped from AZ to FL, after 2000 phone calls and e-mails I found one broker that got the job done, I can tell you its not cheap! It cost me $1300 door to door. I can give you the persons name if you are interested, im not trying to push any business, I think they are all crooks!!!

I have a friend that had a GNX shipped from Rhode Island to N.C. and think he said it cose about $800, roughly $1 a mile which I though was very cheap. I have not talked to him in a few weeks but if I see him I will ask him who he used and see if that can help any.

i couldnt agree more...i've used them several times, its sort of like ebay, you place an add (free), and people basically bid on it...piece of cake...and the shippers have feedback (like ebay)

i highly recommend uship

Take it from a car hauler. Dont use a broker to haul your car. And dont forget. The cheapest isnt always the best.

Re: I need a truck shipped from TX to PA Who does it?

Agree on Mike [board member = Fine69] - he is somewhat local to me [Ohio] and he delivered my 70 2wd Blazer door to door for me a few months ago.

Shoot him a PM and see what he thinks about price/timing - it can't hurt to ask.

I will never 'look' for a shipper again if Mike is doing transport jobs - it isn't worth it for somebody who doesn't care about your stuff to be hauling it over the US.

He did a fantastic job for me.
