amber turn signal lenses

I noticed these were listed as a 73-74 item but I'd like to put them on my '79. Will these swap in, keeping in mind I have the large headlight bezels that surround my turn signal/parking lamp lenses?

Thanks.

Re: amber turn signal lenses

according to the LMC book there are differences between 73,74 75-78 and 79,80 each being different so there are three different sets so im going to say that they will not fit

It's hard to tell. I think classic parts only lists clears for 73-80. So I'm wondering if the break-down by year in the LMC catalog is for correct lenses, but any will work.

Re: amber turn signal lenses

Hi John,

Yes, they'll fit. The lenses are physically the same from 73-79 (and 80 w/round lights).

The catalog listings show what was cosmetically correct for each year:
73-74 = amber (available with or without a stainless trim bezel around the perimeter)
75-78 = clear (also available with or w/o trim bezel)
79-80 = clear (without trim bezel since it would just be hidden by the headlight bezels)
