1972 Chevy C10 Fleetside OE Tailgate, brackets and hinges.

Hey guys,

This tailgate is back up for sale as of 3/01/2010, I was really busy and wasn't able to get it shipped but have more free time now and can ship it any time. The gate is in good shape with no rust through only surface rust where scratched, and where the letters were never finished. It does have a small dent in the upper and lower back (Inside) and a very slight bow to it. It fit, opened and closed fine on the donor truck. Any questions, pic requests or concerns feel free to PM me.

Asking $200

I will ship it, at the buyers expense.

PM for my phone # if you have any specific questions or ask em here. Feel free to make offers, or what you have to trade.

Thanks guys!

Hey,

My truck is pretty complete, so looking for custom accessories like custom dash bezel, custom side marker lights etc. Just finishing touches.

I am in need of a rear chrome bumper for my 72, I think I am going to need the brackets as well. Mine came with a custom welded steel painted bumper. It is more suited for a 4x4 or all stock truck.

Does it have a slight bow to it?

Yeah I think it has a small bow in the top edge, the bottom is straight, but that picture I took of the inside middle where it has a small dent, it looks like the bow is there.

Its not bad, but is there, sorry I didn't mention it. Not trying to hide anything. Let me know if you guys want more pictures of it to see it.

Re: 1972 Chevy C10 Fleetside OE Tailgate, brackets and hinges.

probably a stupid question.... but...

if it has a slight bow, does that mean there is a possibility it might not fit on the truck?

It was on the donor truck, and fit and closed fine. I will try to get some pics of the slight bow today and post em.

Also here are the hinges and brackets.

Ok. Its all good. I was just checking. Sometimes pictures play tricks on your eyes. Haha. Anyways, is there any way you can put a flat edge/level on the gate at the top and the bottom and show me how much of a bow it is? Thanks.

The slight bow is not gonna be a problem with fitment. It will still mount up fine. I have seen tailgates with a huge bow at the top and bottom and they still work and fit.

Just FYI, no one else is gonna get shipping quotes for your potential buyers. That's something you need to do. All you need it the measurements of it boxed up and the weight....then you can input that info in at ups.com, fedex.com or usps.com

Not trying to be rude. Just trying to help.
Yeah, I was answering his question on whether it would fit a 69 SWB, not on a shipping price lol. Yeah, that would be pretty rude, I am getting quotes tomorrow, not asking anyone to get quotes.

Thanks for the heads up, just a misunderstanding.

No worries, I like the fact that there are guys on here looking out for everyone. I am sure there are guys out there that want you to get your own shipping quote, but hopefully they are on the Prius forum, and stay there lol.

Thanks Wancosc
