Neal, thanks! The motor is a 454 bored .30 over, so I guess it's like a 460.

I guess a little history would help. I got this truck about two years ago, and started tearing it apart. I have just started working on this thing hard the past 6 months or so, and feel like I am finally making some head way. It has a ECE 3.5/5 drop using spindle spring drop up front. 4 wheel disc, all new lines. I got lots of ideas from this great site about fuel tanks, so I drew one up on CAD, and proceeded to fab one up. The engine is nothing special just a 460 with a lunatti cam, roller rockers, and a few other goodies. This thing has been at the body shop for 5 months, and everything is in the final primer. Long of the short I can't wait!! Sorry for the long post. Enjoy!

How many gallons is your fuel tank? It looks killer! You use a stock 90-ohm fuel sending unit?

In the rear did you replace or just blast and paint the cross member where the driveshaft goes thru? Not sure if I missed something but your exhaust routing is just spot on! Does it go thru that rear cross member? That's how I want to route mine but with a H-pipe 2.5" exhaust pipes (SBC guy here) and exit right at the diff.

Your truck looks down right killer!

Have mine at body shop for the past 2 years and still in a million pieces! So I am going to go down there and start working on it myself!!

The fuel tank I made holds right at 18 gallons believe it or not. The fuel sending unit is a universal unit from jegs, and it's a 0-90 ohm.

I just had the frame blasted, and put 3 1/2" holes in the cross member. I did away with the carrier bearing, and went with a one piece drive shaft. I think they did a good job on the exhaust it's tucked tight. However I'm going to have it changed because man this thing blows dust all over the place. The exhaust is 2 1/2" as well.

Thanks for the kind words. It's been alot of fun, and a lot of work. I can't wait to enjoy it some.

Got the inside of the bed painted, and put together! Now just have to get the outside done! It's going to be a long week. I want to put this in a local show this weekend. Wish me luck.
