Re: yay,goodies:)
POR-15 or PM industries chassis paint. I have bought both at my local Carquest store. Both work great but require a little bit of a rough surface to hold to. If you have the stuff blasted it will work great. How bout some pics of your truck?

Re: yay,goodies:)
i have some por15 but i want to hold on to it for the floors.
and here you go. chopped springs and flipkit right now. it aint much rite now but it the motor and tranny are solid along with the brakes and everything else.just needs cosmetics really.especially once all the suspension is done im going to be getting rid of the grill for a stocker, and also ive made up my mind on switching it to a fleetside.they just look alot cleaner too me. a paint job wont be for a long time so im trying to think of a different satin color to spray bomb it with.i like brown rite now ohhh and i painted the wheels black and left the outer trim chrome and i got some spinners for it. Re: yay, goodies:)
to be honest i dont know if its a heavy half or not?????
and im going to be using 3 inch spindles,2 inch springs with half a coil cut,the flipkit and shackles. should be sitting pretty after that i want it pretty low,but im going to have to redo my exhaust im guessing because who ever did it before did a horrible job and its hanging down kinda low.so i might try and order some summit shorty headers. actually im going to look those up rite meow. |

Re: yay,goodies:)
i am new to all this truck stuff but i believe you can tell if its a heavy half by how many leaves you have on the rear. if my memory serves me right i had 8 or really 7 and a half (yay rust) and i have a heavy half. just wondering cause mine sits really really high. but have no pics.

Re: yay,goodies:)
i got about the same parts on Christmas,on the drop spindles if your runing 15in wheels you need to grind a little off of the top arm that holds the caliper

i painted where to grind....put the wheel on spin.see the scratch marks on the spindle and grind away at that spot.shot it with some black paint.spin and repeat....
