Should I Fix Before Selling?

Hey guys,

My '72 C-10...it's in great shape, but runs a bit rough...can get it started, but last time it seemed to have a problem with either the starter or alternator or something...I'm no mechanic...but when all is well, it runs like a top...has original 250 (3 on the tree) with about 109,000 on it...my purpose is get opinions on whether to do a complete restore and replace the whole motor, etc....

Greg

I would just get it running good and all of the safety equipment up to snuff and drive it... Yep, That's what I would do...

Gotta agree with this guy.
You'll regret selling a truck that nice.

Re: Should I Fix Before Selling?

I say keep it as well, but if you're set on selling it, I'd get it running good first. You never know what a buyer is looking for, but a well running, driving truck will be more appealing to the majority of potential buyers.
