Re: electric fan and aluminum radiator questions?
I did a little research on Champion Radiators and I don't remember seeing anything bad about them. It's what I plan on using.
Look here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT I think 2800 CFM would be enough. |

Re: electric fan and aluminum radiator questions?
That is the one I bought. It seems pretty good. You can make it fit and use the original mounts and cushions with a little modification.
I wouldn't bolt thru the core to mount the fans though. I understand that will eventually kill the core. I built an aluminum angle frame to hold the fans. TR

Re: electric fan and aluminum radiator questions?
This is a Summit PN I used SUM-381328. Just set it in last week. Still have to mount it and figure out and fab up a fan shroud.

Summit has a fan shroud for their radiators. They are like $99 and I think you can get a single or dual set up. http://www.summitracing.com/search/B...ord=fan+shroud and they are aluminum

Re: electric fan and aluminum radiator questions?
I wonder if the later model ones will work too. I have an 81 parts truck . I think i will take a look at that and see how it works. I won't be tearing into it untill the 27th though.
